Kia ora! Me? An insolent knave with a knack for having mental balance out of kilter; possessing knockabout humor capable of knocking over desolation of the most touching knells. Wrongfully believed to be a kamikaze klansman; rightfully assumed to be a know-it-all kenspeckle. A knight-errant, with Kantian beliefs and a clandestine klephtic desire to put a kibosh on knuckleheads of my kingdom who “discuss” matters far beyond their ken. Fervent practitioner of kidology, no kidding. Regularly found in fits of a kinesthetic kef resulting from korsakoff’s syndrome after keeling over because of my circadian arrhythmia. A keen kleptomaniac for bits of wisdom, for my knowledge still harbors plethora of kinks. Kvell as long as allowed to kindle kerosene up-to my heart’s desire. Kinky as a kaleidoscope, yet with potential to be a killjoy in any pretentious klatsch. Strong proponent of free software karma and, consequently, also of a certain kick-ass kernel popularly known as Linux. A mordant kiln for all kinds of knee-jerk music; always ready to kerf klutz aficionados of such kitschy art. The acerbic tongue serves as my knife, which, when combined with my astringency proves to be quite adequate for knapping any opposition and leaving it kibbled. If you’ve endured my blabbering this far, kudos to you! You may now call me Kamran Khan. Or simply, K. |

Attique, thanks a lot for your comments and compliments (although you should have used the “about krkhan” page for general comments as it’s easier to find
). Apparently, you’re one of my seniors from FAST. It’s good to know that there are appreciative ones among them too
.
Comment by krkhan — September 18, 2007 @ 6:48 pm
Yes, you’ve guessed right. I’m from batch 02. It’s great to have innovative FASTians like you
I couldn’t decide where to put general comments until I came to this page :p Next time I’ll put comments in the above-mentioned page. Cheers!
Comment by Attique — September 18, 2007 @ 8:26 pm
I actually searched your name on Google, only to find out that you’ve been present in every single Dean’s List of Honor during the time you spent at FAST
. What are you doing nowadays?
Comment by krkhan — September 18, 2007 @ 8:51 pm
Kamran man I am proud of you!!! Your blog’s excellent!!! Im impressed
Comment by Talal — September 18, 2007 @ 10:45 pm
As you must already know by now that I’ve did BS in TE. These days I’m working as a demonstrator at a NUST institution called Center for Cyber Technology and Spectrum Management (F11 ISB). They’re concerned with research and stuff like parallel computing, en/decrypting data, firewalls, fpga programming, automation, microwave and antennas.
I had plans to go for masters this September but they were scuttled after I was refused UK visa. After graduation I spent about 2 semesters at FAST as lab-engineer (Antenna Lab). I’d like to know if we’ve ever met :).
PS: I may rejoin FAST as RA/Lab Engineer in near-future.

Attique, I’m currently enrolled in my 3rd semester so I haven’t even seen the Antenna lab yet
. Do let me know if you rejoin FAST in near-future.

About External Text MX
———————
Hi Kamran!
I’m experiencing difficulties in setting parameters to make External Text MX working.
What is “Page Variable”?
How and where do I declare myPageVariable?
I used:
myPageVariable = new LoadVars;
onClipEvent(enterFrame) {
myPageVariable = load(”sample.txt”);
}
Even if sample.txt is in the same folder as the .swf. I got nothing but undefined displayed…
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards

Let’s hope I manage to find you through the academics office :-p .
Comment by krkhan — February 5, 2008 @ 9:48 am
I’m doing a job parallel to the assignment at FAST. So, currently I only spend Tuesdays and Wednesdays there and manage to bunk my job for a couple of classes on Monday and Thursday. You’ll most probably find me in the Antenna/Microwave Lab or lurking somewhere in the library.
